About Gucevo mountain

Mountain Gučevo is located in western Serbia and represents the westernmost mountain of the Podrinje mountains and rises from the Drina river valley. The highest point of this mountain is Crni vrh and it is located at 779 meters above sea level. Mount Gučevo is a wooded mountain dominated by hornbeam, beech, oak, maple and black pine. Among the wild animals, you can see a rabbit, fox, deer and a large number of different birds. Beside its breathtaking landscapes, it’s very popular and important because of its historical importance and battles which took place on mountain itself.
